01Basics
  1. 1) Documents to be submitted (Refer to SETEC Exhibition Center Operating Regulations and Contract.)
    1. A. Events (exhibition, event, etc.) or event venue operating plans
    2. B. Permit or license certificate, inspection certificate and/or approval certificate of the applicable field if the expected events (including facilities and structures for the events) need to be permitted or inspected by and/or reported to the related organizations
    3. C. Insurance policy: Preparations for fire, safety accidents, theft of exhibited products, etc. (The insured period shall be the same as that of the rental period.)
  2. 2) Use of exhibition center and conference rooms
    1. A. Exhibition center and conference rooms shall be used in accordance with our operating regulations after your rental payments.
    2. B. SETEC operating regulations and rental agreements shall be applied to your use.
    3. C. Any use other than agreements shall be done after prior discussions and approvals with SETEC.
  3. 3) Various equipment constructions (materials used) relating to your events shall be carried out in accordance with any related laws (construction, fire prevention, electricity, gas, etc.) and SETEC operating regulations.
02Compliance with SETEC operating regulations
  1. 1) Compliance with due time of submission for various applications, reports (appendix forms of our operating regulations)

    - Any due time shall be kept to prevent equipment constructions and/or events from any troubles because various applications and/or reports shall be reviewed and approved in accordance with procedures on SETEC operating regulations.

  2. 2) Partitions shall be installed around hydrants, emergency exits and machinery room entrance during the installation of booths in an effort to be prepared for any emergency.
  3. 3) Flame-retardant materials shall be used for any materials necessary for various fittings.

    - A confirmation of flame-retardant treatment and its application to SETEC’s office before the start of any construction.

    - SETEC may take actions such as stopping constructions on any discovery of failure of using flame-retardant materials, and users shall be fully responsible for those actions.

  4. 4) Flame-retardant materials shall be used for any materials necessary for various installations.

    - A confirmation of flame-retardant treatment and its application to SETEC’s office before the start of any construction.

  5. 5) Various constructions such as booth installations shall be built in compliance with exhibition operating regulations and any applicable laws.
  6. 6) Cooperators registered to and appointed by SETEC shall be used for any construction relating to event constructions such as booth installations and others.

    - Review the use of others after discussions with SETEC if companies registered to SETEC cannot be used for the type of constructions.

  7. 7) nstallations shall be in principle built in the same way of details on the submitted design drawings.

    - Carry out constructions after you submit an application for changes and acquire our approval in advance, if any installation details are changed unavoidably.

    - Users shall be fully responsible for any problem from constructions in violation of SETEC operating regulations and any related laws.

  8. 8) Installation of advertising facilities (banners, etc.)
    1. A. The entire documents including the layouts of advertisements, drawings and others together with an application (appendix form no. 7) 7 days in advance shall be submitted to SETEC, and advertisement designs can be installed only if they are approved by SETEC in advance.
    2. B. The following standards shall be applied to the use of the entrance arch on the central top of the exhibition center and banner installation facilities on the external street lamps in case of duplicated holding with other events if SETEC advertisements are installed.

      ① The later contractor shall in principle use the remaining unused space of the earlier contractor.

      ② If two events are applied for the same period, SETEC advertising facilities shall be in principle used under the split of 1/2 respectively, and the installations on the external walls of the exhibition center shall be made in accordance with the following use division standards of the exhibition under the division of use for the exhibition center.

    3. C. Guidelines for advertisements on the entrance arch of the exhibition center

      The banners shall be fabricated, installed and cared in accordance with the following procedures, if two exhibition events starts on the same day but one ends earlier.

      ① If one banner is fabricated and installed, the later ending organizer shall dismantle it at the end of its event after both organizers agree on the fabrication and installation of one banner for two event details.

      ② If banners are individually and separately fabricated, the earlier ending organizer shall dismantle the banner on the entrance arch when the other event ends after both organizers individually fabricate and install their banner, respectively, provided that the later ending organizer may dismantle it under the discussions by both organizers.

  9. 9) Heavy objects may be brought in if an application for bringing in heavy objects is submitted and approved when any heavy objects are brought in.

    - Submit the layout of heavy objects, load safety review and load distribution plan when any heavy objects are brought in. (Refer to the status of facilities for loads on the exhibition center.)

  10. 10) Arrange security guard, guide and field personnel in preparation of damage to facilities, fire, safety accident, theft and orderly maintenance among others.
  11. 11) It is necessary to take actions such as Pytex construction or others in preparation of damage to the floor by various installations on the lobby.
03Observance of SETEC operating regulations are requested for the related companies including participating companies and others.
  1. 1) The organizer shall provide participating companies and event related companies with cautions and others on SETEC operating regulations to encourage them to abide by regulations.
  2. 2) Restrictions in the exhibition centers and conference rooms
    1. A. Any parking or stopping of vehicles, bringing in food and/or smoking in the exhibition centers are prohibited.
    2. B. Any drilling and/or nailing on the floor or wall, and painting (spraying) in the exhibition centers are prohibited.
    3. C. The use of any electric tools including any electric saw and electric grinders among others is prohibited.
    4. D. The operation of any exhibited product with high risk such as any boiler, furnace and/or stove among others is prohibited.
    5. E. The attachment of any advertisement to the wall with adhesives such as tapes, or loading of products including any exhibited product is prohibited.
04Other instructions and restrictions
  1. 1) No selling or cooking is allowed in the event venue.

    - If it is unavoidable due to the characteristics of the event, prior approval by SETEC is necessary.

  2. 2) No attachment of advertisements to the wall or floor using tapes and/or adhesives among others is allowed.
  3. 3) Electricity, compressed air and/or water shall be supplied after the completion of safety check.

    - Supply in accordance with electric equipment operating guidelines and work processing procedures relating the event.

  4. 4) Sound regulation: Any dispute among companies due to excessive noises shall be prohibited in advance.
  5. 5) Submission of opening ceremony information: opening ceremony related matters such as event time, VIP list and vehicle, etc.
  6. 6) Restrictions on the use of heating devices

    - No use of indoor heating devices is allowed in the exhibition centers and conference rooms.

  7. 7) Any installations on the lobby shall be built in consideration of the passage and safety accident of visitors, and the floor protectors shall be installed on the bottom of those installations.
  8. 8) Prohibition of bringing in any LPG container and/or firearms
  9. 9) The organizer shall directly apply for phones to Korea Telecom. (Yeongdong Telephone Station: 100 without a dialing code)
  10. 10) If any additional facilities such as a dressing room, makeup room and medical room among others are necessary, they will be separately installed and operated in the exhibition center.
  11. 11) Additional safety personnel shall be arranged in any performance or convention with the participation of massive personnel. (Prior discussions with SETEC)
  12. 12) Electricity, air-conditioning, water supply, compressed air, waste disposal and restoration
    1. A. An application for technical supports (appendix for no. 4) shall be submitted if any electricity, air-conditioning, water supply and/or compressed air is used.
    2. B. Any waste from the event shall be disposed of on the user’s expenses.
    3. C. Both parties shall check out on any abnormality on facilities used after the event ends. (Hall Manager)
  13. 13) Guide to use according to the new establishment of SETEC Press Room (Only the access by reporters is allowed.)

    - Location: Next to Site Customer Support Room on the lobby of SETEC Exhibition Center

  14. 14) Photocopy and stationery purchase in SETEC Exhibition Center

    - Location: CU Convenience Store (+82 2-558-6103)

    - Equipment: Possible of photocopy and fax

    ※ Please use CU Convenience Store for any photocopy and stationery purchase in the exhibition center. For the amicable office works, it is necessary for the organizer to rent office equipment or install its items to the SETEC organizer office for their use.

  15. 15) Keep about 1.5m gap between the exhibition center wall and booth wall during the arrangement of booths to secure safety for fire prevention (abide by the restricted installation line in the exhibition center). In addition, use the designated cooperators registered to SETEC for booth constructions, electric equipment and other works in the exhibition center.
  16. 16) Abide by an agreement for use before any use of SETEC outdoor exhibition center, lobby space

    - Agree for use by 7 days before the start of use, and use after full payment

    (Prior submission of installation drawings and use area is necessary if the use of exhibition or advertising booth other than site registration desk is applied.)
